Henderson/Green Valley
Anthem Country Club - This private course with limited public play was built in 1999 in the Del Webb Housing Tract. The course wanders through the higher desert of the Vegas Valley, offering spectacular views of the valley at every turn. It uses the desert terrain to highlight the holes and the play throughout the canyons and hill tops. The course is enhanced by the creeks and beautifully integrated waterfalls at various holes. Reflection Bay Golf Club/Lake Las Vegas Resort - This daily-fee resort course was established in 1998 and designed by Jack Nicklaus. In 1999 the course was named one of the "Top 10 You Can Play" by Golf magazine. Five of the holes ar played on the shoreline of Lake Las Vegas. Par 72. 7,261 Yards
Dragon Ridge Country Club - This 18 hole private country club is found within the complex of homes in MacDonald Highlands. This course is highly recommended for play and the staff ensures an enjoyable game. You will have a great panoramic view of Henderson and Las Vegas. This course was designed by Jay Morrish and Dave Druzisky for all skill levels, but to keep players off balance. Most holes have a Carry-over to reach the fairways and many resemble a Scottish style. Par 72. 7,039 Yards
Rio Secco Golf and Country Club - Rio Secco is in the Seven Hills development and is being laid out between canyons and ridges of the Henderson desert. This was originally designed as a private club for members and homeowners, but was bought out by the Rio Hotel as a perk for guest. Tiger Wood practices on this course. The Butch Harmon School of Golf is located within this community. Black tees Par 72. 7,332 Yards. Blue tee. Par 72. 6,946 Yards. White tees Par 72. 6,375 Yards
Desert Willow Golf Course - This is an executive course that overlooks the Las Vegas Valley in the retirement community of MacDonald Ranch, a Sun City Development. The fairways are in beautiful condition and sometimes very narrow. The links are nestled against Black Mountain. Par 60. 3,811 Yards
South Shore Golf Club/Lake Las Vegas Resort - This private course was also established by Jack Nicklaus in 1995 who holds the course record along with Tiger Woods of 65. This is a stunning course that fuses together the magnificent views of the desert and Lake Las Vegas. In 1996 it was voted one of the "Best New Private Courses" by Golf Digest. Also it was ranked 6th in the 1997 Private Golf Courses ratings by Golf Digest and #3 of the top ten in the state. It is only open for play to members and guests. Par 71. 6,917 Yards
Southern Highlands Golf Club@ "The Estates" - This exusive private course is limited to 360 members which receive the finest personalized service. The Revere/Sun City Anthem - "A Revolutionary Golf Experience" seems to me to be an understatement. This course is going to prove to be one of the most popular choices in the valley. There are 6 holes were you will notice water and a magnificent 100 ft multi-tier waterfall behind the green of #7. Thirteen of the 18 holes are played within the canyons, and there are severe elevation changes (100-250 ft) throughout the course. Many suggest if you can only play one course in Las Vegas this is the one to play. Par 72. 7,140 Yards
Painted Desert Golf Club - In the heart of northwest Las Vegas lies Painted Desert Golf Club. This 3-star course was designed in 1987 by Jay Morrish and was once the former home of the Nevada Open, this golf course offers a true test of skill. Separated by native negetation and guarded by lakes and bunkers, Painted Desert offers a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Par 73. 6,840 Yards.
